7 Duas For Wealth, Money and Good House

Most people in this world are want to be rich. They will do whatever it takes to increase their income to be rich people. In Islam, it’s okay to make efforts for wealth and prosperity to support our life in this world. Make so much wealth in your life is important such as keep the importance of the inheritance in Islam.

Whether people making money for needs or charity, it is lawful in Islam to make Dua for that. Instead of making a hard effort on it, it would be better if you do with making some wish towards Allah.

There is a lot of Duas from the quranic verses that mention about wealth and prosperity. We can recite some of them and make Dua on our daily prayer. May Allah will give us His gratitude.

1. The Quran Surah Al Maidah Verse 114

The verse of 114 in the Quran surah Al Maidah is a great Dua to reach our gratitude form, Allah. It mentions the Dua from the prophet Isa, the son of Maryam, to seek Allah’s prosperity.

قَالَ عِيْسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ اللهم رَبَّنَآ اَنْزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مَاۤىِٕدَةً مِّنَ السَّمَاۤءِ تَكُوْنُ لَنَا عِيْدًا لِّاَوَّلِنَا وَاٰخِرِنَا وَاٰيَةً مِّنْكَ وَارْزُقْنَا وَاَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرّٰزِقِيْنَ – ١١٤

“Isa the son of Maryam prayed, “O our Lord, bring down us food from heaven (the day of its descent) will be a feast for us, for those who are with us and those who come after us, and are a sign of Your power; give us sustenance, and you are the best giver of sustenance. ” (QS 5:114)


2. The Quran Surah Ali Imran Verses 26-27

The truetrue meaning of verses 26 and 27 in the Quran surah Ali Imran is amazing. It shows us that Allah will give us everything we need. It becomes a sign for Muslims that everything comes from Allah only.

Allah is the only one who determines everything that happens to this world. That is why, reciting these verses will make you more grateful in life.

قُلِ اللهم مٰلِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِى الْمُلْكَ مَنْ تَشَاۤءُ وَتَنْزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّنْ تَشَاۤءُۖ وَتُعِزُّ مَنْ تَشَاۤءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَنْ تَشَاۤءُ ۗ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ ۗ اِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ – ٢٦ تُوْلِجُ الَّيْلَ فِى النَّهَارِ وَتُوْلِجُ النَّهَارَ فِى الَّيْلِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ وَتَرْزُقُ مَنْ تَشَاۤءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ ٢٧

“Say (Muhammad), “O Lord of power, You give power to whomever you want, and you revoke power from whomever you want. You glorify whoever you want and humiliate whomever you want. In your hands are all virtues. Truly, You are the Almighty of all things. You put night into the day and You put day into the night. And you remove the living from the dead, and you remove the dead from the living. And you give sustenance to whomever you want without calculation. ” (QS 3:26-27)


3. The Quran Surah Al Qasas Verse 82

Reciting surah Al Qasas verse 82 of the Quran will make us more aware that our prosperity comes only from Allah. That is why we need to be more grateful and it is better to make Dua from this verse.

وَاَصْبَحَ الَّذِيْنَ تَمَنَّوْا مَكَانَهٗ بِالْاَمْسِ يَقُوْلُوْنَ وَيْكَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهٖ وَيَقْدِرُۚ لَوْلَآ اَنْ مَّنَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْنَا لَخَسَفَ بِنَا ۗوَيْكَاَنَّهٗ لَا يُفْلِحُ الْكٰفِرُوْنَ ࣖ – ٨٢

“And those who yesterday dreamed of their position (Karun) said, “Oh dear, may Allah have made a sustenance for whom He wants among His servants and limits (for whom He wants among His servants) -His). If God had not bestowed His gift on us, surely He has buried us too. Oh dear, it is true that there will be no luck to those who deny (favor of Allah). ” (QS 28: 82)


4. The Quran Surah Saba Verse 39

Reciting the Quran surah Saba verse 39 will remain you to make a charity from your wealth. Make this verse to be your Dua to become rich is a better way than doing nothing.

قُلْ اِنَّ رَبِّيْ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهٖ وَيَقْدِرُ لَهٗ ۗوَمَآ اَنْفَقْتُمْ مِّنْ شَيْءٍ فَهُوَ يُخْلِفُهٗ ۚوَهُوَ خَيْرُ الرّٰزِقِيْنَ – ٣٩

“Say, “Truly, my Lord gives sustenance and limits it to whomever He wishes among His servants.” And whatever you give, Allah will replace it and He is the best provider of sustenance.” (QS 34: 39)


5. The Quran Surah Az Zariat verses 56-58

Allah mentions that humans are The creatures that He made so that we do pray and make Dua for Him for nothing in return. It means that we don’t have to give Him our prosperity to Him in return. Allah will keep giving His blessing to whom who believed.

وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْاِنْسَ اِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوْنِ – ٥٦ مَآ اُرِيْدُ مِنْهُمْ مِّنْ رِّزْقٍ وَّمَآ اُرِيْدُ اَنْ يُّطْعِمُوْنِ – ٥٧ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الرَّزَّاقُ ذُو الْقُوَّةِ الْمَتِيْنُ – ٥٨

“I did not create jinn and men so that they worship for Me. I do not want any sustenance from them and I do not want them to feed Me. Truly Allah, He is the Provider of Sustenance Who Has the Strength again Very Sturdy.” (QS 51: 56-58)


6.The Quran Surah Nuh Verses (71: 10-12) 

There is one authentic dua proven by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that is especially for getting wealth, money and a good house.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي وَوَسِّعْ لِي فِي دَارِي وَبَارِكْ لِي فِي رِزْقِي

“O Allah, forgive my sins, expand my abode, and bless me in my provision.”


7. The Quran Surah Surah Al-Baqarah

رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ

Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.


So, there are 7 Duas for wealth you can make that recite from the Quran. Remember, that everything has come from Allah so the wealth you have means the gratitude He gave you.

You may be using your wealth to make a difference between the Hibah and Wasiyah for your inheritance. Whether you are using your wealth for needs or charity, don’t forget to pay the Zakat so may your life will be more grateful.
