Our main topic is why Muslims pray on Friday to kill the Infidels. So, first of all, we should know why Muslims pray on Friday. And what is the importance of Friday prayer in Islam, and what’s the reward you get if you pray on Friday?

Our beloved prophet SAW almost 1500 years ago from abu Hurairah, our prophet, reminds us, ” the best day for all of us is Friday. Allah SWT created so many days, But the best day he chose is Friday jummah”. Why is this day So essential for us? Why this day, allah SWT Says in the holy Quran.

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلَوٰةِ مِن يَوۡمِ ٱلۡجُمُعَةِ فَٱسۡعَوۡاْ إِلَىٰ ذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِ وَذَرُواْ ٱلۡبَيۡعَۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ

O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu’ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew.

Some of the authentic hadith given below is what dose our Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said about Friday (juma).

Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday; on it Adam was created, on it he was made to enter Paradise, on it he. was expelled from it.

Abu Huraira reported the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) as saying: The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday; on it Adam was created. on it he was made to enter Paradise, on it he was expelled from it. And the last hour will take place on no day other than Friday.

Abu Huraira has narrated a hadith like this that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: We are the last and would be the first on the Day of Resurrection.

Our beloved prophet SAW said that this day is crucial because of Allah SWT.

• Created first man Adam (AS). It was made on Friday.
• Adam (AS) was admitted into jannah on Friday. The same day, Adam (AS) was expelled from Jannah in and out on Friday.
• Adam (AS) was sent down on this planet on Friday. And this is the day allah forgives all the sins of Adam (AS).

These were some of the little intros about the importance of Friday. Our main topic is that do Muslims pray on Friday to kill the Infidels? The answer is NO. At the start of this article, we already told you Allah SWT created many days, but he made a special day for this Ummah, and that day is Friday.

Muslims pray in large numbers on Friday because there is a lot of virtue on this day in Islam, and it is not written in any book of Islam that Muslims offer Friday prayers to kill infidels.

Where did the idea that many of us have heard of the necessity to kill the infidel’s nonbelievers how did develop where did that idea? How did that develop because it’s been around for a long time in infidels, and what does Islam say about killing the infidels? I would say it came from Europe and the holy wars of that time, especially from the crusades.

That’s where the idea came from. There is no concept in Islam of killing the infidels just because someone is of a different faith; killing them has no place in Islam because the Qur’an says, as I mentioned, there is no force in Islam for anyone to convert to Islam.

Qur’an often says about the unity of humanity, not just the unity of the Muslims and Muhammad pbuh. When he moved from Madina, there were many, many people of other faiths. He accommodated them, gave them autonomy, protected them, and gave them identity. If the Qur’an or Islam had told him to kill infidels, there would not have been any infidels in the time of Muhammad.

Where does it say in the Quran to kill Infidels?

First, we should know what allah SWT says in the holy Quran about killing someone.

وَلاَ تَقْتُلُوا النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلاَّ بِالْحَقِّ ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُمْ بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ

“Take not life, which Allah has made sacred, except by way of justice and law: thus does He command you, that ye may learn wisdom.”

(al-An’am 6:151)

وَلاَ تَقْتُلُوا النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلاَّ بِالْحَقِّ وَمَنْ قُتِلَ مَظْلُومًا فَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا لِوَلِيِّهِ سُلْطَانًا فَلاَ يُسْرِفْ فِي الْقَتْلِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ مَنصُورًا

“Not take life – which Allah has made sacred – except for cause. And if anyone is slain wrongfully, we have given his heir authority (to demand Qisas or to forgive): but let him not exceed bounds in the matter of taking life; for he is helped (by the law)”

(al-Isra’ 17:33)

As is known, I studied that, According to the holy Quran, killing anyone without any crime is a very big sin in Islam. It doesn’t matter whether the person is a believer or a non-believer. Killing someone is killing humanity, and saving one person’s life is as good as saving the whole of humanity. ( al-Ma’idah 5:32)

However, your question is valid. Then how come the Quran says:

“kill them wherever you find them…” as it is mentioned in Surah al-Baqarah 2:191 and Surah al-Nisa 4:89.

“Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loves not transgressors. And kill them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, kill them. Such is the reward of those who reject faith. But if they cease, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah; but if they cease, let there be no hostility except those who practice oppression. If anyone transgresses the prohibition against you, transgress ye likewise against him. But fear Allah, and know Allah is with those who restrain themselves.” (al-Baqarah 2:190-194)

وَدُّوا لَوْ تَكْفُرُونَ كَمَا كَفَرُوا فَتَكُونُونَ سَوَاءً فَلاَ تَتَّخِذُوا مِنْهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ حَتَّى يُهَاجِرُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَخُذُوهُمْ وَاقْتُلُوهُمْ حَيْثُ وَجَدْتُمُوهُمْ وَلاَ تَتَّخِذُوا مِنْهُمْ وَلِيًّا وَلاَ نَصِيرًا إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ يَصِلُونَ إِلَى قَوْمٍ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ مِيثَاقٌ أَوْ جَاءُوكُمْ حَصِرَتْ صُدُورُهُمْ أَنْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ أَوْ يُقَاتِلُوا قَوْمَهُمْ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَسَلَّطَهُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ فَلَقَاتَلُوكُمْ فَإِنْ اعْتَزَلُوكُمْ فَلَمْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ وَأَلْقَوْا إِلَيْكُمْ السَّلَمَ فَمَا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ سَبِيلاً سَتَجِدُونَ آخَرِينَ يُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يَأْمَنُوكُمْ وَيَأْمَنُوا قَوْمَهُمْ كُلَّ مَا رُدُّوا إِلَى الْفِتْنَةِ أُرْكِسُوا فِيهَا فَإِنْ لَمْ يَعْتَزِلُوكُمْ وَيُلْقُوا إِلَيْكُمْ السَّلَمَ وَيَكُفُّوا أَيْدِيَهُمْ فَخُذُوهُمْ وَاقْتُلُوهُمْ حَيْثُ ثَقِفْتُمُوهُمْ وَأُوْلَئِكُمْ جَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانًا مُبِينًا

“They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): so take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (from what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them, and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks. Except those who join a group between whom and you there is a treaty (Of peace), or those who approach you with hearts restraining them from fighting you and their people. If Allah had pleased, He could have given them power over you, and they would have fought you: therefore, if they withdraw from you but fight you not, and (instead) send you (guarantees of) peace, then Allah hath opened no way for you (to war against them). Others you will find that wish to gain your confidence as well as that of their people: every time they are sent back to temptation, they succumb to that; if they withdraw not from you nor give you (guarantees) of peace besides restraining their hands, seize them and slay them wherever ye get them; in their case, We have provided you with a clear argument against them.

Now you should think honestly about it. These verses give any free permission to kill infidels. This verse was revealed by Allah SWT to Prophet Muhammad PBUH when kuffar Madina was attacking Muslims.

Does the Quran tells Muslims to kill Infidels?

In summary, the Quran does not promote violence against innocent people or indiscriminate killing of infidels. It only allows self-defense in certain circumstances and within certain rules of engagement.

We should know Muslims ruled Spain for 750 years. If they followed that killed the infidels, they would not be a single jew Christian living up there, but when Muslims living by the Sharia in Spain, the Jewish people were accommodated.

The golden age of Judaism was under Muslim Spain killing of infidels has no place in Islam; actually, Islam is opposed to the idea Islam is against that idea saving one innocent person is like saving all of humanity.
